Specialist African Safaris - More than just a game drive

A 1.1 BILLION YEAR JOURNEY INTO THE ABYSS

At one stage South Africa had the oldest known rocks on Earth in the Barberton Mountain land. This has been upstaged, but having said that, it is still one of the best preserved and most easily accessible ancient greenstone belts ever and draws geologists from all over the world. The rest of our geology is phenomenal too and we invite you to travel with us through 3.6 billion years. Follow the sequence as it is presented to keep track of where you are going and remember to hang onto your seat.
